I wanted to take the time to thank you for the wonderful event this past weekend. Everyone at the reception complimented the wonderful setting, from the long, white linen table to the bar and small breakout areas. The tents your team set up added to the nice and cozy ambience.

The food was absolutely the best I have had of any catered events, but what really stood out from all the other events we have had was the SUPERIOR service and professionalism your three team members provided throughout the afternoon and into the evening. When they finally left, I noticed they had left the backyard and garage completely spotless, clean and in better condition than when they arrived! Please be sure to thank them again for the wonderful evening.

I am writing this note to commend the excellent service we received from the Il Fornaio team at an event held at our home in Beverly Hills for NYU. Everything, from the arrival time, to the arrangement of the table, bar, service and clean up was of the highest quality. The team arrived punctually and began their business. We were so delighted with the discreet manner in which the team assembled the materials and prepared for our guests, because it allowed us to concentrate on our own responsibilities. This was also true of the serving and drink service during the event and the quiet and unobtrusive way in which they cleaned up and returned things to their pre-event form. We thought it important that you are aware of the very professional and fine service we received. The food preparation was perfect - arriving warm and the arrangements of the cold appetizers was not only appealing, but delicious. It is the first event that we have given where we, as hosts were truly able to enjoy our guests and felt everything was under control and worked smoothly - from start to finish. I am writing to express my delight with the service we were given by Fabio and Ben for the reception for my mother-in-law's memorial service. Fabio and Ben arrived precisely on schedule and immediately set to work setting up tables, linens, etc. Before our guests arrived, the room was completely ready. When the service ended and we moved to the reception hall, both Fabio and Ben were there ready to receive our guests with beverages and right-out-the-oven hot appetizers. Once our guests had departed, they set to work quickly tearing down the furniture, etc., and leaving the kitchen in the clean condition in which they found it. I couldn't have been happier with their service.

Gretchen, I really appreciate how easy you (and your website) made it for me to set up the reception. It was literally "a piece of cake", unlike any catering I've ever experienced. The sales order was completely detailed; I didn't have to guess what would be provided. I also didn't have to worry that the bartender would show up in short sleeves with tattoos all over his furry arms (something I experienced a few months ago with a different restaurant)!

Il Fornaio provided just what we wanted: elegant, affordable, and easily-planned reception. Thank you very much for your help, and please let Fabio and Ben know pleased I was with their efforts.
